Hi Sandesh,
Yes, if you want to lose weight increase your cardio.
I'm a newbie on this group, but have been doing cardio for 15 years.
Of course, the general answer is that optimal health should include both weights and cardio, and those people who stay injury free often do some cardio before hitting the weights as part of their warm up.
Having said that I would encourage you to increase the amount of cardio you do during your weight loss phase. Cardio burns an incredible amount of calories and if weight loss is your major concern increasing cardio will help. My last long run I burned 2,600 calories. It is very hard to find an exercise that will do that. Do you want to burn that many calories at one time. Probably not, if you worry about keeping muscle mass. (That was a specific workout as my last long run before a marathon)However, if you want to burn a bit of fat increasing your cardio will certainly help you. Probably hard enough to increase your heart rate but not so intense you can't carry on a bit of conversation. If you have time, 20 minutes works for lots of folks and of course watch diet.
I'm going to leave it to the more experienced guys to answer which cardio or weights, should get priority. At this point in my own learning, I can only say that increasing cardio will reduce weight.
Hope that helps,
Wayne

2. End of Summer

Hey guys!
As we head out of the summer bathing suit months, the pressure to keep
training sometimes fades for some of us.
Just because you'll be putting away the short sleeve shirts pretty soon
is not a reason to stop training!!!!
For many bodybuilders the fall and winter months are a good time to
enter a bulking phase.
It's difficult to gain much muscle when you're trying to maintain a six
pack so now is the time to eat some more HEALTHY calories and
concentrate on lifting bigger weights. Think fewer exercises and reps
and concentrate on the big compound movements like deadlifts, squats and
bench presses.
Bodybuilder.com has some good tips
<http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/dean14.htm>
I also see some great training articles on building size at our member
Charles' excellent site Fit2Start <http://www.fit2start.com/> . Lots
of good size building advice!!!
The point is don't let your motivation wane...Keep pushing for a bigger
and better you!!!

The Junior USA is a top level national warm up to the big National shows. It doesn't have quite the cache that the Jr Nationals do but there have been some pretty impressive winners in the past. Art Atwood first made his national level splash by taking this contest.
This year, Light Heavy phenom Lorenzo Jones took the overall. He also took the overall at the Europa Supershow, check out this video interview!!
Muscular Development has some great photos of the competitors!!
Here's the complete list of class winners. Video of class comparison
