Hello All,

I have started a new site which is similar to NaturalBodybuildingEvents.com, but lists Health and Fitness Expos. Tradeshows & Conferences. I hope the site will become a resource for folks in the fitness industry to locate Expos, Tradeshows & Conferences where they can work at a booth, have their own booth, or network themselves and their fitness-related businesses.

The URL is http://www.healthandfitnessexpos.com

If you know of an event that I don't have listed, please let me know and I will add it to the site.

Thanks!

Thanks for the write up. It would appear that you are saying that the key is in boosting the metabolic rate, but that there are other factors.  After going to the link, it appears that the link references a workout routine.  To this, I'd like to add in my two cents for those who are interested in can take into account.

Increase in metabolic rate can be done through exercise as you will see just about anywhere.  Through the increase of the metabolic rate, you can usually eat more. However, if you are looking at decreasing weight, you should look at maintaining your diet or even making the necessary changes to increase the reduction of body fat.  Protein helps to speed up the metabolic rate because the body has to put more energy into breaking down the food. So if you are doing exercises that include a combination of weight training, cardio, circuit training, or cross-training, you can increase metabolism through exercise and diet, therefore yielding a quicker reduction in bodyweight/fat.

As a bodybuilder, I have used combinations that have allowed me to drop my bodyfat down to minimal levels for competition, and these are some of the methods/tools used.  And that is my two cents.

Cheers! Charles

Subject: [Bodybuilding for Men] Building on a Perfect Body Metabolism During Bodybuilding

Among us there exist lots of individuals ready to sacrifice their all just to increase their metabolism just a bit. Having a level of metabolism which is high enables a person to burn excess fat, lose unwanted weight quite fast, all within the shortest amount of physical activity. Then it is important that it is stated that metabolism by all means is rate through which a human body produces energy and consumes the same and also produces calories for the support of life.
In addition, there is also the existence of several factors which are known to affect in a way the metabolic rate of an individual such as genetics, muscle tissue, consumption of meals, stress levels, activity levels as well as dietary issues. On the other hand metabolism is known to slow down because of muscle loss due to lack of enough requirements of physical activities as well as the tendency that is obtrusive when the body cannibalizes its specific tissues due to the lack of enough energy levels from food that is consumed for its own sustenance and also a decrease in the body's physical activity which comes with the onset of old age.
Metabolism is known to decrease very along with the increase in age but the good thing is that there is a possibility of countering these effects. In fact the muscles that an individual has are such an important determinant when it comes to the ability of the body to really burn calories as well as shed lots of fat. In this case exercising is a special component in metabolism. A person should always build on strength as well as resistance through working out for around a week or even two weeks and with weights which is highly recommended.
A person engaging in bodybuilding should always engage in some easy exercises during workout and more so in between. In fact simple acts such as taking the dog for a walk as well as using stairs rather than the elevator in a way it can help in decreasing the amount of calories in the body. The important thing is to be able to match eating amounts with amounts of body activity which one has.
Strength training really boost metabolic levels which is achieve through the increase of the exercises as well as the repetitions in each of the exercises. In addition the levels of resistance as well as utilization of the chance to increase exercise techniques if viably possible will unmistakably add up to better metabolic rate and levels.
Even cardiovascular training also increases the rate of metabolism in the body which forthrightly achieved through the inserting of intervals in between exercises as well as performing some cross-training inculcated with a combination of exercises as well as adding up speed in training as well as the resistance levels in the body muscles.
If one has the desire have a specific body weight it is paramount for them to stabilize metabolism levels which is the jinx for which will play the role in all exercises geared towards weight loss.

I bet a bunch of members are already on this.  What do you think?
In it you get to pick a bodybuilding avatar and then train him (or her) on a daily basis getting into peak physical condition.  There are challenges between players and trainers to be hired.  It's a fun application that is pretty inspiring.  While the variety of exercises is pretty basic and I haven't found where (or if) diet is factored into the equation but it does reinforce the idea about steady, well rounded training yielding a great result.

Hey There,

Have you ever seen a Jew working out at your gym? Usually they are trying to promote their personal injury law firm or selling insurance. I am working out at a gym near the Court, and there are Jews everywhere and all they do is talk. They also look like wimps except for the fat ones.

Thank You.

I have read that vitamins are just bullshit, and I was thinking of giving up on them, but now I have discovered a new way to take vitamins. I use them as suppositories!!

This only works with gel-caps and Vitamin E and similar vitamins that are not in tablet form. Ever since I started taking Vitamin E as suppositories, my boyfriend says that my ass looks younger and nicer than ever. Those are the kind of results that you can't get when you drink your vitamins!!

Thanks,

Brad

The swine flu epidemic is another disease created by the degenerate gays buttcrunching each other all the time into their feces and eating that stuff and getting sick. Then they pass it on to others by sharing cups, food, cookies, you name it.

Avoid gays and you will be healthier.

How to Build Muscle Fast Using Intense Negatives

Posted by: "Jewboy" dyfgyrvkjxqt@yahoo.com   dyfgyrvkjxqt

Sat Dec 12, 2009 10:06 pm (PST)

Bodybuilders are typically always searching around for new ways to bust through training plateaus, to provide variety for your routines and to find new ways to trigger muscle growth and improve strength levels. Finding and making use of new different exercise techniques is essential for muscle building success as your muscles soon adjust to the demands of new exercises and will be unable to continue grow until new demands are made of them.
There are a great deal of ways in which to trigger growth including the regular progressive overload principle of using certain amounts of sets and reps and doing as many repetitions as you can until your muscles fail. Other useful exercises and variations include: compound sets, drop sets, partials, supersets, 21s and such like. However today we are going to look at negatives as a way to stimulate muscle growth.
So, what exactly are negatives? And how can you build muscle fast using negatives?
Well, negatives go like this. Lets use the bench-press as an example and imagine that you usually do 8 repetitions at 110kg. You have become stale and your struggling to add anymore muscle and got stuck at this weight. Put an extra 20kgs on to the bar and have your gym partner assist you in pushing the barbell until your arms are nearly fully locked. Now with the weight at the top your spotters remove their hands and all assistance and you lower it steadily and under control. Then let your friends help you press it back up once more. Repeat this as many times as you can until you can no longer lower the weight safely and under control.
Why should I do negatives? And will I build muscle fast using negatives?
Well your muscles are actually stronger in the lowering phase so when you do regular reps you are only placing stress on the muscle fibers in the lifting phase which are not as strong. So, by doing negatives you can get your muscles used to handling a heavier weight. Do a few workouts such as this and you can trigger muscle mass growth and thus improve your weight training efforts for your normal routine and increase your overall muscle mass.
Are there any problems with this?
due to the fact that your muscles will probably not be used to performing this type of work and also for physiological reasons you will more than likely be very sore on the next few days after your training session. Certainly do not workout again until you have totally recuperated and keep high your protein intake and be completely sure to take a quality protein shake straight after your weight session.
Negatives can be used in any exercise but work best for the major compound multi-joint exercises like: deadlifts, pull ups, squats, shoulder presses and so on. However do these type of sets sparingly and use them as a way to bust through training plateaus and to stimulate muscle growth on an infrequent basis.
With those points in mind keep taking on good solid muscle building nutrition, rest adequately and workout hard and frequently and you ought to have no problems piling on muscle mass. Now go ahead and build muscle fast using negatives.

Re-Engineer Your Body Today! DON'T BE A FAT WIMP!!

Bent over row exercise

Posted by: "dolly_smith@ymail.com" dolly_smith@ymail.com   dolly_smith@ymail.com

Sat Dec 12, 2009 10:06 pm (PST)

Using free weights is a better way of exercising than machines as it allows your body to move in a natural range of motion. A bent-over row is a much-used free weight training exercise which strengthens your core and helps you gain more muscle mass. It targets the latissimus dorsi muscle and needs to be carried out correctly under expert guidance. This means that the posture and grip needs to be correct, or else you may end up hurting yourself. To start with, there are typically two grips: over hand and underhand grips which can be divided into wide or closed grips. Of these, the underhand closed grip is the most preferable to start with. Initially you can start with the bent over rows where you lift the weight while you bend, take it up to your belly and control it the way down. After you are comfortable with the underhand close grip you can proceed to the overhand wide grip or close grip. Bend over rowing is a prototype of rowing exercises, where you use a lot of your back, gluteus, back strings, and other muscles. It helps you to gain more muscle mass and boosts the muscle building process. This bent over row exercise is almost like the `head of the family tree' exercise that tones your back, lower back, hamstrings, ans is the best way to start with. The Deadlifts work wonders for your back, hands, fore and back arms, shoulders, neck, and the chest muscles. These exercises allow you to load up lots of weight but most of the machines in the gym can take only a certain amount of weight, so if you are at the maximum side up, you are left with just a few options. However, if you are still contemplating the idea of making a beginning, just get going. Source:http://www.ultra-musclebiuilding.com

Definitely some good points made. All in all, I would say it is a matter of starting of and just getting your feet wet. You never know what you can really accomplish unless you try.  However, if you start off your journey in bodybuilding with someone who has the experience, it can make getting into bodybuilding that much easier.  Also, research is key; especially when you are considering various supplements and methods of training.  Then again, that goes back to acquiring a good leader to follow. If you have a good mentor, they can direct you down the path of bodybuilding where you will learn a lot and enjoy your time. If you don't, or try to go it on your own, it could turn out to be a devastating experience.  Overall, there are some valid points made, with the overall point being adapt to what you want to do, build up your confidence, and don't get discouraged.

Beginners start out a body building lifestyle with tentative steps full of confusion and fear. Although body building is usually very interesting at the beginner's stage, beginners are unsure of what to do, when and how. There are questions about which exercises to begin with, length of workout sessions, number of sessions in a week and even which diet program to implement. Most armature body builder display a marked lack of confidence for quite some time after starting out a body building routine.
This is expected given that they are venturing out to a totally new field that is as wide as it is demanding. But it is very important that the armature body builder builds upon his or her confidence levels soon after starting a body building program. Without confidence, most exercises are done tentatively, inconsistently and without focus. This makes the exercises unproductive and even more confusing. Confidence roots a body builder into a path of progressive self development. Only a confident body builder is able to determine where he or she is at a particular time, where he or she is headed and even the path to take towards that objective destination.
Confidence helps the armature to define the goals of his or her bodybuilding program, to identify the activities and exercises that will lead to the achievement of the goals and finally to schedule workouts in such a way that these exercises are incorporated appropriately in the training schedule. Confidence levels must be relatively high for an armature body builder to elevate his or her gains in muscle mass, strength and definition until the professional platform is reached. Gaining confidence is not easily done as it is said and it requires meticulous effort and self-determination. Following a natural path of self-development, a body builder can learn the tricks of successful body builders consolidate achievement and gain experience.
The first thing for an armature to do in the bid to gain confidence is to seek knowledge. Serious body building armatures spare adequate time to research the field and practice. It is important to read body building literature both on and offline in the form of magazines, books and journals so as to acquire as much information about body building as possible. It's also important to solicit for expert opinions and professional advice on the various scepters of body building. Such research helps the armature body builder to learn of the techniques necessary to succeed in body building. Approaching a workout regime from a point of knowledge gives one confidence than if a body builder remains ignorantly in the dark.
Secondly it is important that the armature body builder sets out long term goals and the progressive short term goals that add up to successful achievement of the long term goals. These short term goals ought to challenging but achievable in relatively short time. The achievement of the goals amplifies the body builder's confidence and continually motivates him or her to pursue the long term goals. When tangible achievements have been gained, the confidence level sores high.
Finally it is important that the armature body builder learns never to compare himself or herself with other body builders. It kills morale and ruins self confidence to always compare oneself with those body builders who seem to have everything mapped out for them. Focus should always be maintained on self development, at ones pace and not that of the third parties.
